No, I didn't take this photo - whoever did likely used a telescope - but it's what I saw with my own eyes - an orange marble of a moon, with Saturn to the left and the blue star Regulus to the right. What a sight... And if people like me can see this from NYC, think of what all those people in darker places must have seen! I stayed out watching from when I got home until I began to turn into a popsicle, then went inside.
